Thank You for Turning Up the Heat!

We’re thrilled to share that our Christmas Turn Up the Heat for Places for People campaign was a tremendous success! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we surpassed our goal, raising an astounding $17,600!

The campaign was sparked by the urgent need to replace an aging oil furnace in one of our
properties at a cost of $8,450. Combined with the heating expenses for all 20 of our units, the
total bill last year approached $40,000. While our tenants contribute to these costs through rent,
there is still a significant funding gap.

This amazing achievement means we can replace a much-needed furnace with an energy-efficient unit, and offset heating costs, ensuring our spaces remain warm and welcoming for those who rely on us.

Special thanks to all the loyal supporters of P4P who donate throughout the year and the
volunteers who contribute their time. Shout out to Walkers Heating and Cooling, Kelly’s
Propane and Home Hardware for their ongoing support with gifts in kind.
